Primary responsibilities: DevOps engineer to support scripting and automation development in the AWS environment. DevOps engineer will support building automation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), promoting IaC through a CI/CD pipeline and enhancing existing processes like re-hydration. In addition, working knowledge of using AWS services like Elastic Kubernetes Service to build infrastructure. Additional:Maintains and improves existing build and deployment processes across all productsCollaborates with Application Developers, QA Engineers, Product Owners, and others to create deployment best practicesEnforces best practices for security and reliability across ITSDesigns and deploys new application components and infrastructuresImplements and maintains a continuous integration environmentSupports and troubleshoots product and infrastructure issues in production environmentsWrites configuration scripts for automation tools and automates recurring tasksActively monitors and administers cloud-hosted applications and builds integrationsParticipates in engineering design and deployment planningComplexity Works with partners within 1-2 business functions to align technology solutions with business strategiesSupports several moderately complex business initiativesServes as a project team member
Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical degreeTypically requires 3+ years of relevant technical or business work experienceGeneral familiarity with networking, security and automated deployments of middleware in AWS GovCloud using IaC
