Job Details

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  • Must have consumer digital product experience
  • Must have strong software product management experience.

This role sits at the intersection of Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Venture Strategy, and Innovation Leadership must have that entrepreneurial , cross-functional, and experience handling early-stage venture creation nature of the work.

You ll participate in constructing the overall business plan, identifying business priorities, and addressing business and technical challenges.

You ll also be deeply involved in customer discovery, market research, early customer engagement, resource planning, and team development, gaining unparalleled experience in venture creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Help identify early customers and map out a strategy to engage in meaningful dialogue, which ultimately evolves into value-creating customers
  • Perform customer interviews and devise learning experiments to run to help feed the product or service design and specification
  • Proactively contribute your expertise, experience, and network in developing the concept
  • Rigorously analyze the opportunity in a team setting
  • Help to develop a quantitative business plan from the concept stage
  • Ensure pilot customers are being cultivated and secured for entry into market
  • Assess and acquire useful capabilities from the Company and other third parties to help further the overall business
  • Act as external spokesperson for the new product or service
  • Keep the team moving at pace with a clear understanding of deliverables and timelines

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in roles with demonstrated track record of software, digital product, and/or business management responsibility
  • Time spent in customer facing roles (e.g., consulting, sales, or sales support)
  • Execution oriented individual that understands and can apply lean startup thinking, facilitate complex projects, and oversee teams
  • Exceptional people skills and the demonstrated ability to gain confidence, build rapport, and drive consensus with team members
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Ability to work within a consensus-driven environment
  • A willingness to do what it takes to make the client team successful there is no job too big or too small

Desired Experience

  • Previous experience working at a start-up
  • Past roles working at, or consulting to, global enterprises, ideally in a strategic role
  • Domain-/subject matter-expertise relevant to the specific Innovation Accelerator project
