The CSU Chancellor's Office, located on the waterfront adjacent to the Aquarium of the Pacific in downtown Long Beach, is the headquarters for the nation's largest and most diverse system of higher education. Salary

The anticipated salary hiring range is up to $9,930 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The salary range for this classification is $4,583 to $14,713 per month.

Position Information

The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Digital Productivity Solutions Manager to lead a team of SharePoint administrators, specialists, and web developers to create solutions that address the business and productivity needs of the Chancellor s Office and Campus stakeholders. This individual guides the team through developing governance, best practices, and documentation. In addition, this individual works with users to collect needs and ensure high-quality, easy-to-use solutions created with automation, workflows, integrations, and user-friendly front ends.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the Associate Director of Productivity Services, the Digital Productivity Solutions Manager will:

-Oversee and manage the web solutions team to include approving absences, conducting performance evaluations and assigning work.

-Act as a liaison; serve as a point of contact between the CSU community and Productivity Services.

-Partner with our users and technical team members to develop well thought out solutions that are easy to use, streamlined, and meet security requirements.

-Plan, organize and manage projects to meet or exceed expectations around solution development.

-Facilitate the development, implementation, and deployment of user-facing solutions hosted in Adobe Sign and Microsoft 365.

-Oversee the creation of connections between tools and platforms.

-Create documentation and assist in developing policies and procedures regarding the proper use and management of web tools such as Adobe Sign, Power Platform, and SharePoint Online.

-Build Change Requests (CR) that are documented with the appropriate level of detail, and a compelling case as to why changes should be approved.

-Design and implement governance around Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Power Platform, and SharePoint Online.

-Proactively assign tickets in our team s queue, manage tickets, and ensure tickets are updated with the appropriate level of detail, including work and closure notes, and that such tickets are satisfied and resolved in a timely manner.

-Guide team and provide professional development opportunities to ensure skills stay sharp and relevant.

-Develop automations to eliminate manual, redundant workflows using Microsoft s Power Automate, Adobe Sign workflows and Microsoft 365 applications.

-Create centrally managed Power Platform applications to increase efficiency for stakeholders.

Qualifications

This position requires:

-This position requires a bachelor s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience is required.

-Requires a minimum of five years of experience in a technology-related role.

-Minimum of two years of experience managing people is required.

-Strong and demonstratable familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, and system integration is required.

-Project management skills are required.

Technical Skills

-Knowledge of Microsoft 365 software required including development using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Forms, and SharePoint Online.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) including Microsoft Visio.

-Working knowledge of supporting, configuring, and integrating Productivity software to collect e-signatures, questionnaires, workflow, chat, and video conferencing.

-Experience with database design and normalization.

-Experience with application program development, including analysis, design, and coding.

-Familiarity with information security concepts such as data classification, encryption, access control, and confidentiality.
