Job Description:
Role Description
  • Develop product proposals ("Discovery Requests") on behalf of business collaborators.
  • Liaise between commercial teams (Fuel Supply & Midstream [FS&M]) and digital teams (Tech), connecting people and ideas across the organization.
  • Work with and represent the commercial teams on digital improvements, initiatives, and products.
  • Specifically for operational support, be the conduit and interface for changes and improvements with Tech or Software as a Service (SaaS) suppliers.
  • Assist in consulting bidirectionally at the intersection of business needs and digital capabilities using wide domain knowledge of commercial drivers, business process optimization and the digital toolkit.
  • Ensure digital solutions align with Objectives and Key Results (OKR's), North Star metrics, and FS&M's overall commercial strategy through analysis and documentation of the metrics.
  • Serve as Business Subject Matter Analyst within relevant Discovery Squad(s). Assist in providing business context and insights, help shape and validate prototypes, and ensure business alignment prior to moving to Delivery.
  • Assist in driving effective rollout and adoption of digital solutions and work processes. Develop mitigation plans, foster feedback loops between users and developers, and coordinate closure of any backlog items.
  • Promote knowledge sharing within the Digital Transformation team to broaden the team's knowledge and abilities, improving the team's overall offer to commercial customers.
  • Broadly share initiatives, priorities, and success stories across commercial and digital teams.
  • Assist in educating the commercial teams regarding digital proficiency, strategy, tools, and standard methodologies to spur innovation.
  • Assist in digital literacy initiatives by crafting communication channels, using educational awareness programs etc.


Required Technical and Communications Skills
  • 1-3 years of:
  • experience in PowerBi, R, Python, SQL, AWS, Azure and/or adjacent programming languages or reporting applications
  • experience in digital areas such as basic level analytics, data transformation and basic reporting
  • hands on experience in supply and midstream, hands on experience in B2B Fuels business or adjacent Downstream O&G businesses required.
  • hands on experience in Digital or Technologies related to Digital or be a super user of a Digital Technology required. Solid track record of developing digital products that have business applications.
  • Conducts analyses of business areas or a specific business process and articulation of the analysis
  • Conducts complete background research and analysis on specification of short-term projects/process/procedures and development of operational solutions using Digital technologies such as Python, R and PowerBi
  • Strong penchant for learning Digital or applying Digital to business problems; track record of application of Digital to commercial objectives.
  • Strong communication skills, able to articulate complex scenarios to others clearly and concisely and build consensus and engagement across teams.
  • Ability to influence and inspire change in a positive and impactful way.
  • Self-sufficient, independent, goal-orientated, efficient, and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to think conceptually.


How much we pay (Base): $81,000-$116,000 *Note that the pay range listed for this position is a genuinely expected and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.

This position is eligible for US Benefits - Core. This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 - 240 hours[LC1] of vacation per year for full time employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees). You will also be eligible for 9 paid holidays per year and 2 personal choice holidays.
