Director, FP&A, Reporting & Capital Modeling

Incline Insurance Group is seeking a results-oriented, analytical professional to join our Finance and Accounting team as a Director, FP&A, Reporting & Capital Modeling. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to lead financial planning and reporting processes that support strategic decision-making across Incline s property and casualty insurance programs. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will manage forecasting, budgeting, and consolidated reporting activities while supporting capital and regulatory efforts.


What You'll Do:
As a Director, FP&A, Reporting & Capital Modeling, you will work closely with cross-functional partners in finance, strategy, risk and operations to drive financial insight and operational excellence. Responsibilities include:

Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead budget and forecast planning across departments to support strategic goals and resource allocation.

Capital Modeling: Manage rating agency capital models, ensuring accuracy and control. Develop and manage capital forecasting models.

Financial Reporting: Develop and deliver monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc financial reports across GAAP and Statutory frameworks.

Consolidation & Close: Oversee the GAAP consolidation process and review journal entries and statutory-to-GAAP adjustments to ensure compliance with US GAAP and NAIC SAP.

Variance Analysis: Gather, analyze, and prioritize financial deliverables to support performance review, variance commentary, and management and Board reporting.

Accounting Support: Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, assist in technical research, and support implementation of new or updated accounting guidance.

Audit & Compliance: Partner with actuarial, strategy and risk teams on capital modeling exercises and support ad hoc regulatory filings and financial surveys.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with underwriting, actuarial, and operations to evaluate program performance and drive financial insight.

Process Improvement & Systems: Drive reporting automation and tools to streamline FP&A and reporting processes.

Ad Hoc Projects: Support special initiatives, team projects, and evolving organizational needs as directed.

What We re Looking For:
We re seeking a strategic, detail-oriented finance professional who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in planning and reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and brings a proactive approach to solving complex financial challenges. You should be comfortable shifting between high-level analysis and in-the-weeds execution, with a focus on accuracy, insight, and continuous improvement.

Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis and reporting. Prior experience in the Insurance Industry is required.

Education: Bachelor s degree in business, accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.

Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial modeling techniques; experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and FP&A systems.

Communication: Clear and confident communicator with the ability to synthesize complex data and report with actionable insights and clarity

Collaboration: Effective team player who works well with cross-functional stakeholders and can manage multiple priorities with limited oversight.
