Job Details

We are currently looking for a Director of Business Development for the following locations: Miami, Florida, or Fort Worth, Texas.

The position is onsite for the above locations. Open for hybrid for a stud, but must be willing to travel when needed.

SaaS experience is a must and would be great if they come from a Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain, Transportation or Returns industry!

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Establish and maintain executive relationships with clients to become the trusted advisor Ability to articulate a strong value proposition at the executive level.
  • Manage a complex sales process focusing on software and supply chain solutions, potentially with multiple decision makers and influencers
  • Develop a deep knowledge of assigned clients/prospects
  • Create/develop innovative networking skills to develop and drive pipeline for assigned solutions
  • Collaborate with internal resources and external network to prioritize and penetrate key accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Masters preferred, in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Economics
  • 6 to 10 years proven consultative sales experience in high technology (services or software) to large multinational companies
  • SaaS Sales experience is highly preferred
  • Proven experience in prospecting and developing new business, by effectively building prospect lists and strong ability to transition prospects to clients
  • Ability to build credibility quickly with new clients
  • Proven experience in closing enterprise-wide complex sales solutions
  • Strong ability to influence others in the organization with no direct reporting relationship
  • Expert with the consultative sales approach
  • Proficient with previous CRM tools
