Director of Human Resources with Cloud IT Industry Experience @ Dallas, TX for Fulltime (Hybrid majority in-person)

Key Responsibilities

People Operations & Infrastructure

  • Implement scalable HR systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll, benefits platforms) to enable efficient processes.
  • Develop and implement policies, employee handbooks, compensation frameworks, and job architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Design and lead a best-in-class recruiting strategy across engineering, product, sales, and operations.
  • Strengthen Matilda Cloud's employer brand and candidate experience.
  • Implement onboarding programs that accelerate time-to-productivity and engagement.

Leadership Partner & Organizational Development

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on organizational design, succession planning, and change management.
  • Partner with managers to improve leadership capability, employee development, and performance outcomes.
  • Establish learning and career development frameworks to support long-term growth.

Culture, Engagement & Employee Experience

  • Define and cultivate Matilda Cloud's culture, embedding values into all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Drive initiatives to foster diversity, inclusion, belonging, and employee engagement.
  • Create recognition and retention programs that celebrate performance and reinforce culture.

Compensation, Benefits & Total Rewards

  • Develop competitive compensation and benefits programs that scale with company growth.
  • Manage benefits administration (healthcare, retirement plans, paid time off) to ensure fairness and competitiveness.
  • Evaluate and adapt programs to attract and retain top talent.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or HR certifications preferred).
    • 8 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in high-growth technology, SaaS, or cloud environments.
    • Proven success building HR infrastructure and programs in a scaling company.
    • Ability to successfully navigate ambiguity and provide leadership in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong expertise in HR operations, employment law, and compliance.
    • Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
    • Strategic thinker who balances long-term vision with hands-on execution.
    • Willingness to work in-person in Dallas as part of a hybrid schedule.
