Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with 5+ years of hands-on expertise in building and supporting ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). This contract-to-hire role includes both development and production support responsibilities, ensuring the reliability and performance of data pipelines in a dynamic environment.
Keep in mind this is a PRODUCTION SUPPORT/APPLICATION SUPPORT TEAM. This is not a Datawarehouse team or SQL Development team. Candidates must be comfortable working on a Production/Application Support Team vs. a Development or DW Team.
Note - that is also why the rate/salary are lower than standard ETL Developer - they are only doing support and not end to end coding from scratch.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS to support data integration and transformation needs
- Provide production support for ETL processes, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions
- Document ETL processes, data flows, and system configurations
- Participate in deployment, testing, and code reviews
- Support data migration and integration efforts across platforms
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in ETL development with a strong focus on SSIS
- Proven experience in production support for ETL workflows and data pipelines
- Advanced proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational database design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilitie
