Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
Duties and Tasks:
Participates in electrical requirements analysis, functional analysis, performance analysis
(e.g. timing, power, etc.), design, integration and verification of electrical components,
equipment and systems
Applies principles and techniques of Electrical Engineering
Performs electrical engineering root cause analysis for electrical issues, conducts
experimental tests, evaluates results to formulate and implement solutions to issues
Participates in internal electrical reviews of electrical components, equipment and systems
Evaluates vendor capability to support product development
Applies a basic understanding of the organizationally defined electrical processes used
throughout the lifecycle of the program or project
Supports the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards,
processes, procedures, and tools throughout the electrical development life cycle
Participates in the selection of components and equipment based on analysis of requirements
Generally, works within an identified work group
Generally, has some contact with project leaders
Generally, works on problems of limited scope under frequent detailed supervision
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories
Working knowledge of electrical engineering processes
Use of electrical engineering CAD tools
Working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
Working knowledge in electrical engineering design tools
Good written and verbal communications skills
Creative thinker
Ability to recognize and clearly report information relevant to sound electrical engineering
design
Ability to work well in a team environment
Travel may be required
Security clearance may be required
