Job Details

Sr Electrical Engineer (Mission Critical) - Hybrid + Fully Remote
Design/Build - Mission Critical Facilities (Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, etc.)

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain licensure within 12 months.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on mission critical systems for healthcare and pharmaceutical facilities.
Proficiency in electrical design software and tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, and power system analysis software.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices relevant to mission critical and healthcare environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Duties:
Lead the design and development of electrical systems including power distribution, emergency and standby power (UPS, generators), lighting, fire alarm, and telecom systems for mission critical healthcare and pharmaceutical facilities.
Conduct load calculations, short circuit analysis, arc flash studies, and develop protective device coordination using tools such as SKM or ETAP.
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA 70E, and relevant healthcare regulations.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and construction managers, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
Oversee the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and technical reports.
Participate in client meetings, site surveys, and construction administration activities to ensure project requirements are met.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices within the electrical engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with sustainable design practices and energy-efficient systems.
Familiarity with the design and implementation of Building Management Systems (BMS) and integration with electrical systems.
Experience in leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing client relationships.
