Job Description
Coffman Engineers' Honolulu office is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer with 0-5 years of experience. The successful individual should be comfortable consulting to architectural practices and have a desire to work on a multi-discipline engineering team.
Qualifications
Expected annual salary of $68,000 - $82,000.

Job Description
Coffman Engineers' Honolulu office is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer with 0-5 years of experience. The successful individual should be comfortable consulting to architectural practices and have a desire to work on a multi-discipline engineering team.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 0-5 years of experience with electrical design
- Strong passion or previous experience in the AEC (architectural, engineering and construction) industry
- Power, lighting, communications design, and layouts utilizing Revit and/or AutoCAD knowledge preferred
- Awareness of or experience with load calculations, branch circuiting, voltage drop, short circuit calculations and photometric calculations preferred
- Exposure to power system analysis software such as SKM, etap, etc. is a plus
- Report daily project status updates to senior engineer or project manager
- Ability to work independently with proper engineering oversight
- Ability to work and collaborate in larger project teams
- Ability to research applicable codes in National Electrical Code, International Building Code, etc.
- Registration as an E.I.T. is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
