Position Overview
Ready to take your estimating expertise to the next level? Join a team where your precision and insight directly shape some of the most exciting industrial and commercial projects in the region. From data centers to substations, you'll play a critical role in delivering projects that power communities and industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for electrical projects.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and scope of work to develop estimates.
- Conduct take-offs and quantify materials, labor, and equipment needed for projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors for procurement purposes.
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients.
- Monitor project costs and assist in budget management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide support during the negotiation process with clients and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in industrial and commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Nice to have: Experience with data center and datacom projects, as well as substation estimation.
