Position Overview

From data centers to substations, you'll play a critical role in delivering projects that power communities and industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for electrical projects.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and scope of work to develop estimates.
  • Conduct take-offs and quantify materials, labor, and equipment needed for projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors for procurement purposes.
  • Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Monitor project costs and assist in budget management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide support during the negotiation process with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in industrial and commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Nice to have: Experience with data center and datacom projects, as well as substation estimation.
