Electrical Journeyman
Electrical Journeyman
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Journeyman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in compliance with NEC codes. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and the ability to work independently on various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues as they arise.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and local regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites to ensure efficient project completion.
- Conduct inspections to ensure that all electrical work meets safety and quality standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license (EL-07 or EL-02) is plus.
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and regulations.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Journeyman or similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Familiarity with electrical power distribution systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
