Electrical Project Manager
Electrical Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join team with one of the regions leading Electrical Contractors. You will oversee and manage high-impact industrial & commercial electrical projects that shape the urban environment. The ideal candidate is someone who has handled all aspects of a ground up build, procured all necessary materials, handled complex change orders, and seen the entire build through completion. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring all phases are completed effectively and efficiently.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
- Project Manager to manage multiple large-scale commercial electrical projects simultaneously that are each with a value of $5+M.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Review and approve design plans, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Manage contract negotiations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in electrical project management with direct oversight of projects exceeding $15 million.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and construction management processes.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with contract management and compliance regulations.
- Experience in healthcare, commercial, and industrial projects is a plus.
