Electrical Specialist - Beaumont, TX (12+ Months)

About the Role
iSphere is seeking an experienced Electrical Specialist to support one of our key clients in Beaumont. This role is central to ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems within a large-scale industrial facility. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in electrical maintenance and repair, proven SAP experience, and the ability to mentor and guide craft electricians while driving improvements in safety and reliability standards.
This is not a first-call troubleshooting role. Instead, the Electrical Specialist provides oversight, mentorship, and technical leadership to strengthen overall craft capabilities, quality, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities

Provide daily support to frontline supervisors (FLS) and electricians, ensuring maintenance and repair work is completed to the highest standards.

Communicate with business teams to capture vulnerabilities of electrical equipment and recommend solutions.

Mentor, train, and evaluate electricians, fostering functional excellence and adherence to safety/quality standards.

Lead training sessions, toolbox talks, and lunch-and-learns to advance craft knowledge.

Support maintenance and reliability programs, including Preventive Maintenance (PM) strategy reviews, bad actor analysis, and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).

Ensure compliance with NEC, site standards, and maintenance best practices.

Provide technical planning and execution support for multi-year reliability improvement initiatives.

Identify gaps in spare parts, recommend infrastructure improvements, and drive enhancements through planners and engineering teams.

Participate in safety programs, inspections, and investigations, ensuring a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
-
High School Diploma or GED required. Technical degree a plus.
Experience:
-
5+ years of maintenance experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical facilities, with SAP (S/4HANA) expertise.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems maintenance, planning, and repair best practices.

Familiarity with scaffolding, rigging, welding, fabrication, and related crafts from a planning and oversight perspective.

Experience with project planning software such as MS Project or Primavera P6 preferred.

Prometheus experience is a plus.

Certifications & Requirements:
