Electrical Superintendent

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to represent the electrical contractor on new build and renovation commercial construction projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Projects will include (but are not limited to): hospitals, schools, warehouses, casinos and commercial office buildings. To express interest or verify qualifications, please email Recruiter directly. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and tradespeople to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Manage project site activities, resolving any issues that arise promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with plans and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to streamline operations and address concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and changes to scope.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant construction experience (3+ years in a field leadership role)
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial projects of similar size and scope.
  • New build and renovation project experience involving low and medium voltage scope.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and corresponding safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with scheduling platforms such as MS Project and P6.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
