Electrical Supervisor- Manufacturing
Headquartered in Houston, Texas we are looking for someone out of our Ponca City, Oklahoma location. We specialize in our soot/graphite! We have made our way to over 15 countries and are continuing to grow and expand all over the world! We service markets in industrial rubber, tire rubber, and any specialty carbon!
Position Overview
The Electrical Supervisor will oversee the electrical operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring that all processes are functioning efficiently and safely. This role will focus on maintaining high-quality standards, implementing process improvements, and managing a team of electrical technicians to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the electrical maintenance and repair activities within the manufacturing plant.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards in electrical operations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and oversee the resolution of technical problems in a timely manner.
- Manage inventory of electrical components and ensure proper documentation for purchasing.
- Conduct training sessions for team members on electrical systems and maintenance procedures.
- Drive continual improvement initiatives to reduce expenses and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with ISO certification standards and maintain proper documentation control.
- Perform inspections and calibrations of electrical equipment and systems as needed.
- Supervise and mentor a team of electrical technicians, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven work experience in industrial manufacturing, specifically in an electrical supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical prints, P&IDs, and distributed control systems, including Fisher-Rosemont DeltaV.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team while managing conflicts effectively.
- Experience with budgeting and cost reduction strategies related to electrical operations.
- Technical skills related to maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
