Job Title: Technical Customer Support Specialist - LASER Electronic Products

Type: Full Time

Location: Oxford, MA

Job Overview: Our in-house Technical Customer Phone Support team serves as a liaison between customers and Field Service Engineers for our LASER product line. This role is essential in coordinating service activities, supporting installations, and ensuring high-quality customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Issue Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and maintain accurate RMA database records
  • Coordinate scheduling of repair activities, including warranty and non-warranty services
  • Support pre- and post-installation activities for mid to high power laser systems
  • Assist in developing training modules for internal teams and customers
  • Manage failure analysis documentation, including photography and reporting
  • Create and revise work instructions, procedures, user manuals, and training materials

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field preferred; equivalent training/work experience accepted
  • Background in lasers, electronics, or electrical systems preferred
  • Prior experience in customer service or technical support is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and electrical schematics for phone-based support
  • Willingness to work after-hours and on-call shifts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Open to occasional travel to client sites as needed
