Our organization is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a wide range of tests on various electrical systems and components to ensure their optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. This role will involve working closely with our design and production teams, providing critical input to improve the quality, efficiency, and safety of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with extensive experience in calibration, instrumentation, and equipment performance testing.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct rigorous testing of electrical systems and components to ensure their performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
2. Utilize precision measurement tools, Fluke instruments, and automatic test equipment to perform tests and calibrations.
3. Develop and implement testing procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
4. Document test results, identify issues, and provide recommendations for improvements.
5. Collaborate with design and production teams to enhance product quality and efficiency.
6. Conduct audits to ensure adherence to testing procedures and standards.
7. Utilize NI LabVIEW and TestStand to develop and execute automated test sequences.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ANSI standards and their application in the testing process.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems and components.
10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve testing procedures and methodologies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Test Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Proficient in calibration, instrumentation, and equipment performance testing.
4. Extensive experience with automatic test equipment, precision measurement tools, and Fluke instruments.
5. Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and ANSI standards.
6. Experience with NI LabVIEW and TestStand.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
9. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
