Job Description

Job Title: Telemetry Technician Night Shift

Location: Queens, NY

Pay Rate: $26 $27/hour (Weekly Pay)

Shift Time: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM

Schedule: Must be available for rotating weekends and holidays


Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Telemetry Technician to join our clinical team in Queens, NY. This role involves continuous cardiac monitoring, accurate documentation, and collaboration with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes especially during critical overnight hours.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings (cardiac rhythms)
  • Recognize and report abnormal EKG patterns or vital signs
  • Document all findings accurately and promptly
  • Perform and record vital signs when required
  • Ensure proper equipment function and report technical issues
  • Communicate with nursing and physician staff in real-time
  • Maintain compliance with all hospital and safety protocols


Requirements:

1+ year of acute care experience

Proficient in taking and interpreting vital signs

Completion of a Telemetry Certificate Course

OR an Advanced Medical Technician Program with a cardiac monitoring focus

Must be able to commit to rotating weekends and holiday shifts


Preferred Qualities:

  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently on the night shift
  • Familiarity with telemetry/EKG systems and medical charting
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
