This position is located in New York, NY with a hybrid work model. The role involves leading a team within the front office IT department and collaborating with various governance groups. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in financial services and IT management, with a strong grasp of IT controls and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team dedicated to front office IT functions.
Act as the primary liaison between front office IT and other governance groups.
Mentor and manage the IT compliance and assurance team.
Coordinate with IT services across different regions.
Report to the IT services tower lead.
Qualifications
Over 10 years of experience in financial services with knowledge of financial instruments and banking.
Over 7 years of experience in IT with a strong understanding of software development life cycle and IT controls.
Over 7 years of experience in IT risk, audit, governance, and controls.
Proven ability to collaborate successfully and manage complex issues.
Strong communication skills and proficiency with office technology tools.
