Position is key to assisting efficient development of BMS software controls algorithms critical to the success of Customer's electrification projects
Conduct MIL, SIL, HIL and in application testing for Battery Management System (BMS) software integration. Conduct deep dives for controls software issues to understand root cause and propose potential solutions. Data analysis across multiple Conformance, Performance and Validation test protocols. Conduct model reviews in Simulink

responsibilities:
- Perform Software HIL bench tests using OPAL-RT for Batter Management System Software
- Support battery system performance and validation lab tests for software release
- Support battery system testing, checking data quality, test result integrity and repeatability.
- Write test procedures and reports, and present on test outcomes.
- Write Controls feature requirements and develop Simulink models. Evaluate controls features with MIL, SIL and HIL as needed
- Perform controls integration and system development with MBSE tools
- Develop and optimize controls calibration for BMS
- Provide on-site support for battery lab and on machine validation of BMS software
- Conduct troubleshooting and author NPI issues, and lead them through resolutions
qualifications:
Techinical Skills Required:
- MATLAB/Simulink, GIT
- HIL/SIL Software validation
- Deep understanding of Battery Management systems software
- Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like - Jira, MathWorks (Requirements Manager, System Composer, Simulink Design verifier)
-Hands-on BMS (battery management systems) Software development experience in real world industrial setting
-Requires strong BMS (battery management systems) control systems knowledge and able to work hands on with testing in MIL, SIL, HIL and app
skills: Soft Skills Required:
- Self-starter, Organized, good at communication and collaboration in team settings, MS Office
Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 2 or more years of hands-on experience in the electrification industry (not academic experience)
- Degree requirement: Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Aerospace or other Engineering degree
