Orlando, FL | End User/Hardware Support | Full-time

We are actively recruiting an End User/Hardware Support technician for our client in Orlando, FL. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that will require working onsite in Orlando, with occasional travel to Tampa required. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for hardware configuration and providing executive support.

Due to client request, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals (primarily Dell laptops).

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Provide technical support to executives, ensuring their systems are always operational and efficient.

Assist with the setup and maintenance of conference room equipment and other executive meeting tools.

Perform regular system updates and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.

Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and solutions.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding IT security and data protection.

Qualifications:

Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as a PC Technician or similar role. 2+ years preference.

Strong knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or similar are a plus.
