Description
We are looking for an experienced Endpoint Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and support for campus-wide hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring seamless operations across all devices and platforms. This position requires strong skills in managing Apple and Windows devices, server administration, and resolving complex technical issues.
Responsibilities:
Deliver technical support to faculty, staff, and students for hardware, software, wireless connectivity, printers, and other network-related equipment.
Act as the campus specialist for Apple devices while managing Windows devices effectively.
Administer campus servers, including configuration of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Oversee installation and imaging processes for both Mac and Windows operating systems and associated applications.
Configure and maintain Mac infrastructure, such as remote management tools, software license servers, and integration with Windows Active Directory.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and other devices used by faculty, staff, and students.
Manage software server operations, including deploying applications and maintaining infrastructure for remote management.
Install, configure, and maintain campus printers, including handling remote management and deployment of printer software.
Collaborate on vendor selection and product evaluation for network hardware, software, and services.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for all assigned tasks and processes.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in systems administration or endpoint management.
Proficiency in Active Directory and Windows Server.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Dell Technologies.
Experience with Citrix Technologies.
Ability to manage and support Apple devices and Windows systems.
Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
Familiarity with campus-wide technology goals and the ability to contribute to their development.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
