Job Details

Job Title: Endpoint Support Technician
Location: Sacramento, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Work Hours: 9 AM 5 PM Pacific Time

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Endpoint Support Technicians to provide IT operational support within IT Platform Services, with a primary focus on the Windows 11 Lifecycle Support project and general day-to-day IT operations. This is an on-site role with occasional travel required between office locations using a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Windows 11 lifecycle deployments, end-user assistance, and hardware/software inventory.

  • Perform user data and software inventory services.

  • Manage computer lifecycle replacements.

  • Deliver technical support for computers, printers, plotters, and related peripherals in a Microsoft network environment.

  • Support committee and board meetings with technology setup and troubleshooting.

  • Complete tasks within the ServiceNow ticketing system.

  • Provide conference room support services.

  • Maintain IT support coverage during business hours (some remote work possible).

  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass medical/fitness-for-duty screenings if required.

Technical Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • Experience with OS and computer hardware lifecycle replacement (Windows preferred).

  • Proficiency in installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing computer and peripheral equipment.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve hardware and software issues.

  • Reporting to the IT Platform Services Supervisor.

Desirable Qualifications

  • CompTIA Technician certification or equivalent industry credential.

Additional Information

  • Initial training will be provided, and contractors may be expected to deliver train-the-trainer sessions with full documentation.

  • Onsite presence is required, 40 hours per week.

  • Contractor submissions must include resume(s) and hourly rate(s) for no more than one candidate.
