Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a contract with a client in Richardson, TX. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Drools Rule Language (DRL) integrated with Java to be considered.
Rate Range: $37/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour

Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications integrating Drools Rule Language (DRL) for dynamic business rule execution.
- Design, implement, and optimize rule sets using Drools Rule Management System to support scalable decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather rule requirements and translate them into executable DRL logic.
- Ensure high performance and reliability of rule engines within enterprise-level Java applications.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging of rule logic to ensure accuracy and compliance with business needs.
- Monitor and update rule configurations as business requirements evolve, maintaining documentation for rule changes and logic.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Core Java development and rule-based systems.
- Proven expertise in Drools Rule Management System and Drools Rule Language (DRL).
- Strong understanding of rule engine integration within enterprise-level Java applications.
