Position Summary

Perform system verification for Samsung 4G and 5G RAN Equipment including virtual EMS, vRAN.

Role and Responsibilities

Perform system verification for Samsung 4G and 5G RAN Equipment including virtual EMS, vRAN. Perform system level feature integration testing and prepare detailed Test reports. Develop and perform test plans as well as troubleshoot and analyze problems in customer's lab and production systems. Work on tools, and customer lab support. Aid in product and feature performance analysis, evaluation of new product and SW releases. Work with team members to prepare test plans/cases and execute to validate RAN CP/OAM functionality. Interface proactively with Product/Technology Engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Work closely with various support organizations, logistics, and cross- functional teams from SEA and Samsung HQ to achieve successful new product rollouts and developments.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 6 months of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineering related job titles. In Lieu of a Master's degree and 6 months of experience, Employer is willing to accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 2 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineering related job titles. Applicants must have 6 months of experience (2 years in possession of a relevant Bachelor's degree) in the following: (1) telecommunication system test and technical customer support; (2) networking concepts including TCP/IP, sockets, IPv4/6, routing, and interface snooping; (3) test tools including Wireshark; (4) 5G testing and troubleshooting; and (5) performance analysis of chipsets and networks. 20% domestic travel required.
