Description APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects. Lead software shipping and machine translation projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Use research and engineering experience in machine learning and tracking tools and metrics to track software delivery process. Investigate opportunities in the translation space, define translation-powered experiences, present roadmaps. Apply artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) technologies to real world challenges. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Make sure the combined teams execute plans in a deadline driven environment. Influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. Drive the next levels of business questions and insights. Filter and distill meaningful information for the right audience. Organize and maintain cross-functional partner collaborations. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 - $258,600/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Science and Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Experience with using various tools to accomplish project management effort, including bug management tools, tools to assist planning, resource allocation, dependency management, and reporting.
  • Analytic skills to analyze product usage from feature usage logs, derive insights, identify product opportunities, and translate insights into product improvement plans.
  • Experience leading Software development lifecycle, including product feature ideation to design, development, testing, release and post release monitoring.
  • Experience in impact and risk assessment, and mitigation
  • Machine Learning Research and development experience, including designing and conducting user study, competitor analysis to understand qualitative gaps in products and against competitive machine translation products.
  • Experience in Cross-functional Leadership. Demonstrated experience in leading AI/ML product teams, collaborating with engineering, research, design, and business stakeholders to drive product development.
  • Using Agile, and experience in SDLC development processes
