Primary Function
The Enterprise Analytics Analyst is responsible for collaborating with business partners to find insights and drive change within the mortgage origination process. In this role, the individual will work closely with senior team members to learn and implement best practices for visualizing analytical insights, ensuring that we consistently provide best-in-class service to our management team and customers.

- Support the mortgage origination process by providing thoughtful, insightful, accurate, and timely analytics.
- Help drive the creation, design, and implementation of new business strategies that streamline current practices and enhance understanding through data analysis.
- Demonstrate effective communication and listening skills, focusing on conveying new ideas to performance managers and understanding potential obstacles to implementation.
- Clearly articulate and present ideas and findings to varied audiences, including staff and senior management.
- Prepare reports with strict adherence to reporting requirements, collaborating with other departments on joint initiatives.
- Research operational, reporting, or data issues, and present solutions or process improvements to management.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to ever-changing business needs and requirements.
- Handle ad-hoc reporting or research as directed by management.
- Present cohesively and confidently to Senior Management regarding project statuses, issues, concerns, and recommendations.
- Take initiative in identifying areas for process improvement and independently drive projects to completion.
- Collaborate with upper management, internal departments, and analysts to ensure overall company goals are consistently met.
- Mentor junior analysts, sharing best practices and providing guidance on complex analytical tasks.

Education and Experience
Required education and experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, or a related field.
- Experience visualizing data in any of the following: Tableau, PowerBI, R, Python, SSRS, or Excel.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) or Snowflake.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required knowledge, skills, and ability.
- Familiarity with the core concepts and processes within the mortgage industry, with a willingness to learn and deepen this understanding over time.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with Senior Management and other business units.
- Prior work experience performing business, data, and/or statistical analysis is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and respond well to pressure and competing deadlines.
- Adaptive person - able to assimilate new ideas and thrive in a demanding environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and tools.
