Contract: 12+ Months

Location: City of Phoenix 200 W. Washington St. Phoenix, AZ, 85003

***The resource MUST be able to clear a 7 year Package A background and sign a non-disclosure agreement.***

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Recent large-scale Information Systems experience with upgrades or conversions.- review if highly experienced (7+ years as lead PM in large-scale I
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and manage conflict
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master s degree in business/public administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience in IT program or project management.
  • Experience leading IT project management teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Seven (7) years as project lead with responsible experience in IT infrastructure projects, implementations, interface redesign, testing, and change management across multiple software subsystems.
  • Recent large-scale IT/infrastructure systems experience with upgrades, conversion or software experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field.
  • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
  • All position finalists are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position.
  • Ability to be on-site as required by the project needs and project team activities
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or other project management certifications
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Experience with software implementation/upgrade
  • Experience working with or for public sector organizations
  • Experience with project and portfolio management tools
  • Excellent customer service and business relationship communication skills
