Position Overview

IRG Clients is looking for an experienced Enterprise Storage Administrator to design, manage, and support enterprise storage systems for our city infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, proactive monitoring, and quick resolution of storage-related issues, while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, secure, and maintain enterprise data storage systems.
• Monitor storage and network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement long-term solutions.
• Perform data refreshes, system health checks, patching, and failovers as required.
• Create and maintain SOPs, standards, and documentation for storage environments.
• Manage ServiceNow tickets and vendor cases, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and alerts for system monitoring.
• Collaborate with IT teams, management, and vendors to support observability services.
• Provide regular updates on system health and performance.
• Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with enterprise storage platforms (FC, NAS, server technologies).
• Strong understanding of storage, networking, and server concepts.
• Experience with daily system health checks, patching, and ticket management.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ticketing tools.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SNIA or vendor storage certifications.
• Strong experience with Cisco MDS, Brocade, and fiber channel technologies.
• Experience with VMware, Microsoft, and Linux server environments.
