Pay Information

$33.17 - $38.32 per hour

Shift

Positions available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts

Job Purpose

Assure Molds produce quality parts through:

  • Preventative maintenance, maturation, repair, and tuning.
  • Daily troubleshooting

Key Accountabilities

  • Work on daily activities as assigned by the Team Leader
  • Respond to equipment / mold downtime and recovery issues
  • Monitor equipment / mold for potential problems identification
  • Perform quality & running efficiency improvements to the mold / tooling.
  • Perform all phases of equipment troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic systems
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance plans & activities
  • Clean, organize and put in place work area and department issued tools
  • Observe and promote all department safety policies
  • Quality confirmation of completed work

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum of three months experience in the mechanical and/or die mold maintenance field (including Co-op experience) preferred.

Other Job-Specific Skills:

  • Application of engineering and manufacturing principles
  • In-Depth understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic 2D and 3D Computer-aided-design tools.
  • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively both with customers and internal project teams.

Working Conditions

  • Majority of time is in office environment, but presence in the production area on a daily basis is expected
  • ~10 hours overtime per week is possible
  • Occasional weekend work
  • Travel as required, typically less than 5%
