Marriott's Brand Digital Experience team sets the vision for how 30+ brands show up online. As a Senior UX Designer, you'll play a key role in bringing that vision to life-turning strategy into thoughtful, brand-authentic digital experiences.
This is a hands-on role in an agile environment. You'll design flows, build prototypes, polish details, collaborate with product and engineering, and help ensure work ships smoothly. While execution is at the heart of the role, you'll also have opportunities to contribute ideas, shape decisions, and influence how our brands come to life digitally.

What You'll Do
Translate design strategy into flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI
Apply Marriott's design system while knowing when to adapt for brand individuality
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and research in sprints
Share progress openly, flag blockers early, and help keep projects moving in a global, multi-team environment
Balance usability, conversion, and storytelling in every decision
Present work clearly, tying design choices back to strategy and user needs
What We're Looking For
5+ years in UX/Product Design for large-scale sites, apps, or digital products
Portfolio that shows strong UX craft, storytelling, and shipped work
Sharp design eye and strong attention to detail
Fluency with Figma, FigJam, and prototyping tools, AEM Storybook (or equivalent); Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strong communicator who explains the "why" and adapts to feedback
Comfortable working across multiple teams and stakeholders in a global organization
Experience in hospitality, travel, or global brand design a plus
Core Work Activities
Demonstrating and Applying Discipline Knowledge
Provides subject matter expertise on key functional systems to help shepherd strategic initiatives from idea to feasible implementation
References Design System for appropriate patterns, components, and styles during user experience design work
Produces both innovative high-level design concepts / strategy visualizations as well as development-ready designs with specifications
Ensure a quality experience on live digital products by participating in the user acceptance testing process
Keeps skills up-to-date on industry trends and applies new knowledge to job, identifying strategic opportunities for competitive advantages through those findings
Clearly present your work citing industry best practices, qual and quant data to support your decisions
Be a thought partner providing recommendations based on research and data for experience enhancements across all digital touchpoints
Collaborates with a variety of user experience disciplines within the both the UX team, product team, and development teams (Information Architecture, Design System/Standards, User Research, Copywriting, Front-End, Functional, Authoring) to advance your work
Managing Work, Projects, and Policies
Provides accurate estimates as to needed time to complete work to feed project plans (and therefore personal deadlines)
Meets deadlines once agreed upon
Reports impediments to completing work and meeting deadlines
Provides regular status updates to manager
Successfully manages multiple assignments at once
Accepts critique and critiques work of others in a helpful and professional manner
Communicates in a timely and appropriate manner with teammates
Manage other individual contributors on the team.
Additional Responsibilities
Works independently with minimal supervision, but knows when issues should be escalated to manager
Develops relationships with members of other teams, and leverages those relationships to answer questions
Presents work with clarity and confidence; Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by manage
The pay range for this position is $47.30 to $73.61 per hour.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
