Job Details

Front Office Project Manager / Business Analyst to focus on building out our Front to Back Trade Support across all FX products.

Role Objectives

  1. Business Analysis for strategic projects and enhancements across vanilla and exotic FX Desks
  2. Facilitate daily/weekly Developer scrums, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  3. Support agile activities, including user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, product backlog grooming, and identifying key dependencies and risks.
  4. Lead new projects from inception through go live, managing the project lifecycle across authoring Project Initiation Documents/Business Requirements Documents, Status Reports, leading Front to Back UAT across Users/Developers
  5. Coordinate with Department stakeholders to track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  6. Collaborate with Agile Delivery Leads on the creation of the solution roadmap and providing timely status of deliverables related to roadmap execution.
  7. Document QA test plans and execute test cases. Liaise with business users to create test plans, manage testing, and track defects, enhancements, and questions.
  8. Write user documentation and conduct training sessions on new functionality as needed.
  9. Assist with production implementation & coordinate user validation across impacted Control Functions
  10. Participate in general BA work including production support and BAU enhancements of in-house business applications.

Qualifications / Skills

  1. Strong work ethic with focus on meeting deadlines, objectives, and ability to learn new products and systems in a timely manner
  2. 8+ years of experience in bank capital markets as a Project Manager / Business Analyst with experience relating to Front, Middle Office and/or Back Office system implementations or equivalent operational experience.
  3. Strong OTC Products experience across FX Products, Risk Analysis, Market Operations.
  4. Prior Business Analyst experience in Capital Markets or Fixed Income Products, ability to demonstrate projects successfully launched and benefits
  5. Front to Back Trade support experience across booking new trades, trade affirmation, clearing, lifecycle events (Allocations, Novation, Terminations, Restructurings)
  6. Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members.
  8. Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  9. Strong skills working with MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word, MS Power Point & SharePoint.
  10. Bachelor's degree. Finance, Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.\
