Facilities Maintenance Technician
We are a Manufacturing plant located in West Chicago, IL. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be working directly with the Maintenance Engineering team and will be responsible for participating in the daily operations of the maintenance repair team, completing repairs as they arrive, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct preventative and recurring maintenance on various manufacturing or industrial machinery
- Ensure safety and company compliance while performing repairs
- Answer and perform work orders promptly
- Install, teardown, set-up, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance
- Perform maintenance on the electrical machinery of 480V
- Perform maintenance throughout the manufacturing plant, including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, welding, fabrication, air compressors, and more
- Experience with mechanical, electrical repairs, and various equipment repair in a manufacturing plant or industrial facility
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
- Experience with maintenance, repair, preventative maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, health & safety compliance
- Direct experience with 480V electrical machinery
- Strong electrical background, high(480V) and low voltage
- Experience with troubleshooting industrial air compressors
- Experience with repairing/replacing gearboxes, industrial pumps, gaskets, wires, valves, motors, gauges, switches, seal replacement, and similar industrial maintenance tasks
