A Snapshot of Your Day
Siemens Energy is looking for a committed employee to\nstrengthen our Industrial Generator fact-finding department and take on the\ndaily challenges of the dynamic service business in region north America.
How You ll Make an Impact
- \n
- Responsible\n for the condition diagnosis of air-cooled generators of various types and\n designs with an output between 15 to 300 MVA on reginal North America\n service projects. \n
- Perform\n inspection of all main components of the machine (stator, rotor,\n excitation, bearings) and auxiliary equipment (e.g. cooler) according to\n defined criteria. \n
- Carry\n out electrical diagnostic measurements (measurement of winding\n resistances, insulation resistances, diode tests, etc.) on high and low\n voltage windings and evaluate them in accordance with relevant standards. \n
- Preparing\n and presenting the findings for external customers and internal contract\n partners. \n
- Working\n together with Service Engineering to develop optimization and repair\n recommendations. \n
- Supporting\n project management and service sales in achieving strategic sales targets;\n remote technical support when not on field assignment. \n
What You Bring
- \n
- Completed\n studies in electrical engineering, preferably in the field of electrical\n machines / power engineering, or comparable electrical engineering\n training is preferred. \n
- Strong\n communication, presentation, and technical consulting skills. \n
- Strong\n service approach and the ability to work and prioritize in a fast-paced\n environment. \n
- Ideally,\n you already have professional experience in the design, manufacture, or\n maintenance of electrical machines / generators. \n
- Experience\n in fact finding on electrical machines, carrying out and evaluating\n electrical measurements is desirable. \n
- Very\n good written and spoken German and English skills. \n
All candidates must be authorized or able to obtain\nauthorization to work in the United States.

This role may be based in various locations\nacross the United States. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and\nwellness benefits, including paid time off and holiday pay. For positions based\nin the United States, the base salary range is $105,000 - $195,000 annually, and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary.
Specific offers are determined by various\nfactors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs.\nEmployees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation\ndepends on each individual s qualifications.
