At BJK People's Health Centers, we are looking for a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our adult patients. This is more than just a job; it s an opportunity to enhance community health through prevention, diagnosis, and personalized treatment.
As a Family Medicine Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services. Your focus will be on:
- Building long-term relationships with patients to ensure continuity of care.
- Conducting thorough assessments and developing tailored treatment plans.
- Educating patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
- Staying updated on medical advancements to improve community health.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Certification: Board certification in Internal and/or Family Medicine, or eligibility for certification.
- Licensure: Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Experience in an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine practice.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
- Provide preventive care and health education to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in continuous professional development and stay current with medical advancements.

- Effective communication skills to educate patients about their health.
- Organizational skills for maintaining detailed patient records.
- The ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
- Proficiency in EHR systems is a plus!
