Job Details

Full-time professional experience working as a Field Engineer with System Admin skills and strong Electronic/RF background that installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or Submarine/Shipboard sytems.
Preferred Carry on Equipment, Submarine installation experience.

Provide technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
-Troubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issues
-Knowledge of TCP/IP and routing
-Ability to evaluate software systems.
-Provides technical advice and guidance on RF Theorey, RF Spectrum, and wave propogation.
-Troubleshoots a range of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.
-Performs a range of technical tasks and provides site support.
-Provides advanced solutions to problems and guidance to less experienced field engineers.
-Provides advanced training on different types of equipment and infrastructure maintenance.
-Prepares and revises drawings for systems, parts or equipment from sketches or marked-up prints.
-Provides advice and a range of onsite training for customer support personnel.
-Works with Electrical/Mechanical engineers for stress/electrical/mechanical calculations.
-Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

REQUIRED: Active Top Secret Clearance SCI eligable and Security +, Linux

Certification.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 8+ years of full-time hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or testing of any one major shipboard system/equipment.
