Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to manage and oversee the financial operations of a leading banking client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial data and supporting business decisions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial data and supporting business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting and financial reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Support regulatory filings and reports (e.g., FDIC, OCC, FRB, etc.).
- Maintain internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with senior management to support financial planning and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of financial experience, with at least 2 years in a controller or senior finance role.
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and banking regulations.
- Proficient in Excel and financial/accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
