Job Details

Job Title: Foundry Engineer
Location: Onsite 2-3 days per week in Alexandria or Washington, DC
Duration: Contract to Hire (would be open to Direct Hire)
Citizenship: with active Secret Clearance
Top Requirements
Coach and lead teams
All tech (Foundry, full software set, PySpark, Databricks).
Must know the low code module, app development part
Not really a data engineer, someone who's comfortable with the app side
At least 1 year of Foundry experience
6+ years of development experience overall
Top Must-Have Requirements:
At least 1 year of direct Palantir Foundry experience (pipeline building, object maintenance, app development)
6+ years overall development experience (e.g., PySpark, Databricks, low-code, data engineering)
Strong understanding of low-code modules and Foundry's application development layer
Ability to coach/lead technical teams in a collaborative client-facing environment
Federal/DoD experience preferred
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, or related field
Active Secret Clearance
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL frameworks
Experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and integrating cloud/on-prem data sources
Solid knowledge of data modeling, metadata, ontologies, and governance best practices
