**Hybrid | Westlake, TX**
Our client, a top Investment Company is looking to build and support outstanding products for its highly business critical Employee Digital Tribe. Their engineering team is innovative, diverse, passionate and self-driven. They work in a very dynamic agile environment.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $64 - $69 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Lead Workplace Investing in crafting a modern, digital API ecosystem delivering better customer experiences faster, enabling expansion to new markets and providing access to legacy and third-party systems.
As an engineer on the team, your primary role will be building, testing and engineering REST API's on our API Market Platform. You are encouraged to quickly gain an understanding of all the components of our platform to be able to lead and chip into strategic roadmaps and initiatives related to the improvement, maintenance, and support of the platform.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.

Experience Requirements:
Java:
- 10+ years web development experience with proficiency in Java and Spring.
- Excellent understanding of REST concepts and developing REST API's using Spring boot with Tomcat
- Good experience in database tools and development using PL/SQL
- Experience in tools and methods to enable efficiency, performance and agility through automating DevOps processes (Maven, Jenkins, Stash)
C++/VC++:
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Visual C++ application development with MFC using Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Demonstrated experience handling native code, Windows DLLs and IIS native server extensibility APIs
- 3+ years of experience in database design and development using PL/SQL
