Your Role
The Care Management and Quality Platform team is central to advancing care coordination, member engagement, and quality improvement across Stellarus and its partners through Platform and Technology Product Operation Model. The Full Stack Engineer, Principal will report to the Director, IT Product Management and will serve as a technical and strategic leader, driving the solution architecture, design, and delivery of secure, scalable, and innovative healthcare solutions. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will set technical direction, mentor engineering teams, and ensure the adoption of best practices in DevSecOps, AI adoption, cloud-native development, and automation. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to shape the technology roadmap and champion continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Lead the architecture and design of complex, cloud-native applications and platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Oversee and guide the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks for large-scale deployments.
- Set and enforce technical standards for code quality, security, and operational excellence across multiple teams.
- Mentor and coach engineers at all levels, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and modern frameworks, evaluating their fit for Stellarus' strategic objectives.
- Partner with product, security, and operations leaders to deliver solutions that are robust, compliant, and cost-effective.
- Lead incident management and root cause analysis for critical issues, ensuring lessons learned are translated into process improvements.
- Represent engineering in executive forums, providing technical insight and influencing strategic decisions.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of team leadership and solution delivery.
Qualifications
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or principal engineer role.
- Demonstrated expertise in architecting and deploying cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Advanced proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) and back-end technologies (.NET, Java, Node.js).
- Deep experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong background in security protocols, DevSecOps, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Preferred: Experience in healthcare technology, including integration with Epic, Salesforce Health Cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Preferred: Experience leading teams in Agile environments and driving organizational change.
