Full Stack Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Full Stack Engineer in New York, NY.

Summary:
We are seeking a talented and driven Full Stack Web Application Developer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable web applications from end to end. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing, secure, and user-friendly solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
* Full Stack Engineer will develop and maintain full-stack web applications, including frontend, backend, and database integration
* Architect and implement scalable software solutions using modern design patterns and frameworks
* Build responsive user interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React or Angular
* Design and develop backend services and APIs (REST, GraphQL) with robust authentication and authorization
* Optimize database queries and manage relational databases (SQL); experience with NoSQL is a plus
* Deploy and scale applications using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
* Utilize containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
* As a Full Stack Engineer, you will maintain clear and comprehensive documentation including system designs, API specs, and code comments
* Monitor application performance and implement logging and optimization strategies
* Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders through strong communication skills

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
* Proven experience in full-stack development and deploying web applications
* Experience with GitHub and collaborative development workflows
* Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with Python, Java, or Node.js is a plus
* Solid understanding of software architecture, design principles, and security best practices
* A creative problem-solver with a passion for building innovative solutions
* A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
* Someone who takes pride in writing clean, maintainable code and thorough documentation

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
