RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer with React in Hopkins, MN.
Summary:
The role is high touch position with a notable amount of collaboration across product teams and stakeholders to define requirements and understand how they fit into the end objective.
Duties Include:
* Participates in the technical design of application systems
* Develops and implements application systems by participating through the software development lifecycle from inception to delivery and beyond
* Designs and writes complex code in several languages relevant to our existing product stack, with a focus on automation
* Configures, tunes, maintains and installs applications systems and validates system functionality
* Installs new software releases and application system upgrades; Evaluates and installs software patches
* Monitors and fine tunes applications system to achieve optimum performance levels and works with hardware teams to resolve issues with hardware and software
* Assists with application system problem resolution by working with application developers, vendors, and internal infrastructure team members to troubleshoot
* Addresses product backlog and provide continuous delivery of high-quality features
* Maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation to ensure data integrity
* Acts to improve the overall reliability of systems and to increase efficiency
* Works collaboratively with cross functional teams, using Agile/DevOps principles to bring products to life, achieve business objectives and serve customer needs
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building scalable microservices with RESTful APIs
* Experience with Spring Cloud components like Config Server, Eureka, Gateway, and Circuit Breaker
* Strong understanding of React fundamentals including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle
* Ability to write type-safe and maintainable front-end code using TypeScript with React
* Familiarity with API integration between React front-end and Spring Boot back-end
* Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools like JPA/Hibernate
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab pipelines
* Containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes for deploying microservices
* Implementation of authentication and authorization using Spring Security and JWT
* Testing skills using JUnit and Mockito for back-end, and Jest or React Testing Library for front-end
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
