Job Details
Must haves
- Proven Cloud Architect experience across Google Cloud Platform and AWS, with hands on AWS -> Google Cloud Platform migrations.
- Strong Google Cloud Platform knowledge (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery) plus core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS/DMS, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, Redis).
- Cloud networking, IAM/security, and monitoring/observability (Cloud Monitoring/New Relic/CloudWatch).
- DevOps/CI CD expertise with Git/GitHub Actions and IaC (Terraform/Terragrunt; Cloud Deployment Manager a plus).
- Containers & microservices: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE); autoscaling/HPA and load balancing fundamentals.
- Scripting: Python and Bash; solid Linux (RHEL/Amazon Linux/CentOS).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect (or equivalent cert).
- Deeper Google Cloud Platform services (e.g., Pub/Sub, GCE) and GitOps/Cloud Build familiarity.
- Identity & secrets management (K8s Secrets, AWS Secrets Manager, Vault) and K8s security (network policies, RBAC/IAM).
- API first delivery (REST/Swagger), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and Agile/Scrum exposure.
- Production support/SLA experience and participation in international technical forums/meetings.
