Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Google Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and manage cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The role involves working closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform services.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud resources with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (GKE) and containerized applications (Docker).
- Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure security best practices across Google Cloud Platform (IAM, VPC, firewall rules, encryption).
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to build cloud-native applications.
- Create and maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and procedures.
