Project Description
A public sector client of TEKsystems is seeking a seasoned professional to help operationalize and manage their Google Workspace Google Cloud Platform Google Cloud Platform and AWS environments. This role will be primarily focused on managing their Google Workspace tenant and AWS Tenant ensuring operational targets are met and maintaining governance and audit requirements.
This is a hands-on role that requires deep expertise in managing organizational Google Workspace Google Cloud and AWS with a strong focus on operational excellence security scalability and interoperability within enterprise or governmental environments. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing operational excellence.
Must Have Skills
1. Four (4) years of experience in designing, implementing, performing upgrades, troubleshooting, and documenting infrastructure solutions
as per the attached The City of Calgary Technical Environment and List of Applications.
2. Minimum of four (4) years' experience managing Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS in an enterprise or governmental setting.
3. Four (4) years' experience with Google Workspace administration, including user provisioning, organizational units, security settings, and policy enforcement.
4. Four (4) years' of strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform and AWS resource management, IAM roles, billing, and organizational hierarchy.
5. Two (2) years' of experience with SSO and identity federation, particularly integrating Google Workspace with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and AWS IAM.
6. Four (4) years' experience leading account migration and onboarding projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
7. Two (2) years' of experience with interpreting and executing against technical architecture documents and operational playbooks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience working in public sector or large-scale organizations, with an understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Directory Sync (GCDS), EntraID, and AWS Directory Service.
Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages for automation and reporting.
Experience with cross-platform identity management, including hybrid environments involving Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and AWS.
Certifications such as Google Professional Collaboration Engineer, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Strong customer service skills.
Exceptional analytical and communication skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret complex information accurately, and effectively convey insights to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across cloud platforms and identity systems.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $100.00/hr.
