Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator for a FULL-TIME assignment with one of our premier Wholesale Distributor clients in Elmsford, NY. Hybrid: He or she will work in the office 2-3 days/week.
The company is a leading wholesale distributor for landscape supplies-with 61 locations in the U.S. and Canada. They are a fast-growing company in a highly competitive industry. The company is looking for a talented graphic designer/marketing coordinator with experience in marketing and sales material creation, digital and email marketing, website maintenance, and marketing support.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for graphic design and marketing support. You should be a go getter who is able to wear multiple hats that including production of catalogs, brochures, flyers and other printed/digital materials, creation of marketing emails, data input, market research, and support/execution of marketing initiatives and events.
You must have a sense of urgency, ability to learn new skills quickly, highly organized and detailed oriented. This fast-paced, in-house marketing department supports all locations and corporate marketing initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to grow, learn, and fine tune your design and marketing skills.

Responsibilities:
- Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, developing, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, paid ads, or content marketing
- Independently coordinate marketing initiatives and activities to support local/regional branches, sales team, and category specific goals
- Creation and execution of print and digital marketing collateral, including but not limited to monthly specials/newsletter, event invitations, catalogs, booklets, flyers, etc.
- Resize/create/edit imagery for various channel distribution when necessary
- Tracks, collates, and maintains highly organized inventory of marketing materials
- Builds and tests eblasts and marketing automation series
- Prepare marketing proposals and meeting presentation materials
- Support event planning and production, including internal quarterly meetings, grand opening events, trade shows and classes
- Maintain and update website as needed to correspond with upcoming/current marketing calendar
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice, including monthly articles for website and newsletter
- Conducts research and monitors industry and marketing/business trends to identify engaging topics for newsletters
- Monitor and respond to requests from website
- Must be able to multitask and assist on various projects when needed
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of prior experience in a graphic design or marketing coordinator-level role (not just freelance)
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or graphic design preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including digital and email marketing
- Strong graphic design experience
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to design in PPT for presentations and proposals
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment
- Must exhibit excellent organizational / time management skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within allotted deadlines while maintaining a positive and energetic demeanor
- Copy writing

- Knowledge of video editing
