We are looking for a Guidewire Project Manager for our client in Richmond, VA

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Controls resource alignment across the team and governs readiness and execution throughout the project life cycle.
- Ensures that all project team members have adequately prepared for the engagement, including attending the Sales to Services Handoff meeting and reading the SOW and detailed estimate.
- Proactively manages project scope and budget and controls through effective change management.
- Develops and manages the project plan in collaboration with the implementation team and customer.
- Supports the Tech Lead on resource allocation.
- Working with other PMs for mitigation of Risks and other cross-project issues.
- Sets resets, and manages customer expectations.
- Builds excellent relationships with customers and other team members, clarifies roles and responsibilities, deliverables, timelines, assignments, and reports.
- Proactively manages any project escalations.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of the GW products.
- Conducts appropriate handoff meetings to form the services and other Teams.
- Concludes projects with success, and improvement evaluation and lessons learned exercise.
- Financial and Budget Management experience.
- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or 7 years of experience in the appropriate business industry or services.
- Credentials for PM experience are good to have.
- PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- 5 years of relevant experience and knowledge of process applications and solutions about the GW product sets.
- 2 years of SaaS software project management experience.
- Experience of delivering successful implementations on time and on budget leads to greater customer satisfaction and reference ability.
- Project Management, Agile Scrum, PRINCE2, PMI, or PMP certified.
- MS Office Excel Word PowerPoint Visio Project, etc.
- Awareness of the Financial Services sector.
- Experienced in methodologies and best practices relevant to the implementation and migration of GW products.
- Understanding of SaaS and cloud technologies.
- Strong collaborator who can work across all areas of the business, including system administrators, subject matter experts, and senior management.
- Leads project team members by developing and communicating a clear vision of the project and customer success.
- Motivates and mentors team members on how to perform better as individuals and as a team.
- Comfortable with presenting and liaising at C-level with internal and external executives.
