Job Title: HPE NonStop (Tandem) Payments Consultant
Location: Alpharetta, GA | Wilmington, DE | New Jersey (Ideally Onsite 5 Days Remote Option for Right Candidate)
Type: Contract -6+ months and possibility for extension - This duration is subject to
to changes based on the project's requirement and/or the client's sole discretion.
Rate: $60/hr on W2 All Inclusive Danta Technologies payroll OR C2C - $70/hr

Job Description:
We are partnering with a global fintech and payments company to find a highly experienced HPE NonStop (Tandem) Consultant with deep expertise in transaction processing systems for high-volume retail/payment environments.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Tandem-based payment applications.
• Ensure scalability and reliability of transaction processing systems.
• Implement and support system enhancements, installations, and audit/compliance processes.
• Collaborate with BA, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, audit-ready solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex authorization issues, enhancing success rates and customer experience.
• Provide integration with host systems and third-party payment gateways.
• Document systems and train stakeholders on best practices.

• Extensive experience in HPE NonStop / Tandem (Client, Pathway, TACL).
• Proven track record in payment processing, POS systems, or retail fintech environments.
• Strong coding, debugging, and systems-level troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.

• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, ISO 8583, or EMV standards.
• Background in banking, card processing, or payment gateways.

• Work with a leading global fintech leader.

• Designed and developed Client NonStop/Tandem-based transaction processing applications to support customers' payment ecosystem, ensuring reliability and scalability in high-volume retail environments.
• Implemented system enhancements, installations, and operational walkthroughs, while collaborating with Business Analysts, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver audit-ready, compliant solutions.
• Resolved complex payment processing and authorization issues, improving transaction success rates and customer experience.
• Delivered seamless integration with host systems and third-party gateways, developed low-maintenance, reliable code, and provided technical documentation and training for stakeholders
